REPRESENTATION My work represents what I thought to be something different and interesting as a response to each brief. I want my work to represent something that keeps people wanting to keep watching it. I don’t want my work to represent something negative and boring so I try to use a different technique and narrative with each brief.
EXPRESSION WHAT MY WORK EXPRESSES… First Brief – Character… My work expresses my ability to try out different things when I did each brief. For the first brief I worked with Flash, the second brief I worked with Audition and the third brief I worked with stop motion animation. Second Brief – Sound/Visual Track… Third Brief – Objects…
NEW TECHNIQUES New techniques I've learnt: • USE ADOBE FLASH AND AUDITION. • CREATE A STOP MOTION ANIMATION. • USE A BLOG. • CREATE A SOUND BOARD. • MAKE A ROTOSCOPE ANIMATION.
HOW MY IDEAS HAVE DEVELOPED My ideas have developed from knowing nothing about animation to being able to choose different ways on how to make a animation. I started off with using Flash but now prefer to do stop motion animation instead. With the first brief the character I made something simple but by the third brief I wanted to try something new and take a risk with something I wasn’t familiar with.
WHAT I WANT TO DO IN THE FUTURE From what I've learnt so far from the briefs, I now know good techniques and story building for the final major project. So when it comes to what I want to do for the final major project I think the main technique I will use is stop motion. As for the actual idea of my final major project I haven't thought about anything specific, but ill research into peoples stop motion work to see what I can do.
