Summary and Final Comments • Professors Sheng-keng Ma and Yu-Ming Shih made essential contributions to early developments of statistical physics in Taiwan. • Critical many-body systems have simple universal and scaling behavior. • Lattice models are useful for understanding MC, RG, MCRG, etc. • Other related works: analytic calculations of finitesize scaling functions and finite-size corrections for the Ising model and dimer model.
