Remote Learning As we adventure through remote learning, I ask for patience, flexibility, and grace and will extend the same to all. This time, being new for all of us, will bring about opportunities for growth and a chance to learn from one another as we navigate through. I plan to communicate with parents via email, phone calls, and Google surveys to provide updates and seek insight. Students will also receive emails and be expected to use Google Classroom with all classes. I am no expert with technology but feel free to reach out if assistance is needed. I usually send home a printed weekly Communication Log with my students, and will continue to communicate weekly but via email. By now, you should’ve received your student’s Skyward schedule. Looking at that and comparing it to our remote schedule may be a bit confusing. I went ahead and made an electronic schedule/agenda for each student personalized with their specific classes. That is attached here in this email. Please let me know if you have trouble viewing. I hope this will ease any worry of knowing which classes they have on what day and at what time. Lastly, if your student can not attend the live instruction (Zoom calls) for some reason or their camera needs to be turned off, please communicate this to me. Participation is key in order to benefit from this setup, but I do understand situations arise. I would appreciate communication of this, so I can arrange something else for your student if needed. 7 th Mrs. Lindsey Vander Pol Grade Special Education Teacher Case Manager
