REGIONAL CLIMATE CONFIDENCE INDEX QUESTIONNAIRE The process of evaluation: § Six issues are evaluated (GHG emissions, Sustainable Energy Use, Policies, Institutions, Socio-political aspects, Financial means) § Data on GHG emissions and energy use and yes/no questions on qualitative factors are requested § The scoring methodology is performance based § Results are stored, providing opportunity for later revision

RESULTS SO FAR The RSC Low Carbon Indicators toolkit is aimed to be a useful asset in regional plannig: § Low carbon indicators are being developed by an increasing number of organizations, goverments, institutions § The RCCI was calculated for 10 RSC partner regions and considered to be a useful tool § The RCCI was calculated for all Bulgarian regions and being incorporated in the regional monitoring system
