Advantages of VARS Over VCRS • VAR system uses heat energy. while VCR system uses mechanical energy to change the condition of the refrigerant from the evaporator. • Elimination the use of CFC and HCFC Refrigerants. • The load variation does not put any effect on performance of VAR system. • Quiet Vibration Free Operation • High Reliability and Low Maintenance. • VAR systems can be built in capacities well above 1000 tonnes of refrigeration each which is largest size for single compressor unit.
