DID YOU KNOW……. ? ? • Volunteer Florida designed the Statewide Evaluation to be cost-effective for Ameri. Corps and painless for programs (you don’t have to hire your own Evaluator unless your funding exceeds $500, 000 annually). • FSU owns the survey and administers it, but it was designed by a small group of Florida Ameri. Corps program directors who piloted and refined it for FSU.

IT’S REQUIRED! • FLORIDA AMERICORPS PROGRAMS must participate in the Statewide Evaluation of Ameri. Corps programs to be considered for re-compete funding. Our response rate from program directors must be 100%!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Each time FSU conducts the survey (Spring and Fall), Volunteer

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Each time FSU conducts the survey (Spring and Fall), Volunteer Florida needs your help: • Alert your partners the survey is underway; • Remind your partners to complete the survey; • Insure the survey is being sent to the person who will be completing the survey; • Notify FSU if a partner/contact person changes.

Statewide Evaluation: Value to Your Program • Provides program-specific reports; • Serves as a basis for technical assistance or needed program improvement; • Provides evidence of community impact “what is the value added to my community? ” • Shows change over time (Spring vs. Fall and year to year); • Required for CNCS re-compete applications.

Corps St. Lucie/Indian River Reads! has cosponsored an event with all of their community partners. • Ameri. Corps St. Lucie/Indian River Reads! has completed a Memorandum of Understanding with all of their surveyed community partners.
