Do you recognise this?
What did we do? n n n Baseline audit – February 2011 Feedback to staff Implement basic improvements Re audit in 3 months Final Audit July 2011
Baseline Audit Feb 11 n n n Time taken per round 20 – 75 mins Average time taken overall 46 mins Average time taken: - Breakfast 60 mins Lunch 31 mins Teatime 40 mins Night 70 mins
Interventions n Feedback to staff – increase awareness of reducing the number of times we interrupt n Tidy the trolley – arranged it so it was easier to use n Introduced a trolley checklist – to ensure restocking etc
Does this look better?
Repeat Audit July 2011 n n n Time taken per round 20 - 70 mins Average time taken overall 39 mins Average time taken: - Breakfast 56 mins Lunch 23 mins Teatime 23 mins Night 46 mins
