21 st century roles • • • Challenger (taking Ss from comfort zone to challenge zone) Balancer (zone of proximal development) Facilitator (fostering student centered learning) Innovative (implementing tech into the class and making that a part of learning in and outside the class. TPACK) Life-long learner (we have to seek for new approaches & train ourselves according to learner needs) Goal setter (self-reflection should be encouraged. Mastery goal turns into performance goal) Self-awareness (creating learner autonomy starts with the teacher. ) Raise awareness for diversity among people and create learnerfriendly environment Make learning more alive with extra curricular activities

What is missing • self awareness (goal-setting) • hands on experience (designing tasks to foster this) • project/ task based materials and applications

How can we collaborate? • Such organizations could be encouraged and increased • Reflections should be of great importance and feedbacks should be to the point • Including Ss in every step • Socialization can be encourage with teachers’ guidance • Extra-curricular activities could be designed together • Creating learning atmosphere together (with their materials)
