The Redcoats, or British Army. Serves under the King of Britain. King George the lll was the king of Britain during the American Revolution. The Patriots are the American people that rebelled against the king, and now live under the American Government. The Patriots fought the Redcoats on multiple occasions. One of the major battles was The Battle of Bunker Hill.

The Loyalists are people who stay loyal to the King. The Loyalists helped the Redcoats by feeding them and housing them. Some also joined them to help the British army. The Loyalists disliked the Boston Tea Party and also the Intolerable acts.

The British color was red because They had to see thier men in the fog and cannon fire and it would been easy and cheaper for it to be red. also so the enemy couldn't see them bleedd Dragon. Art. org
