Recording Activities
Activities • Activity definition: Something a person has done or taken part in. Almost anything can be considered an extracurricular activity; from having a job, to taking care of family members, to extreme soap carving… • Importance of recording the activities: Students may forget the smaller but important details of their work experience, or school play, or whatever else they record, but these details may be useful to have in the future, for example in job interviews. • Using the recorded activities: Students may refer back to their activities when they’re writing applications for jobs, apprenticeships, college or university applications. Students will have demonstrated several skills/competencies while doing their activities, so these should be recorded too.
