Married or Single? � Rebecca was married to a man named Francis Nurse. � Her husband seems to have been highly respected by his neighbors, and more often than anyone else was called in to settle disputes.

Gossip in Salem � Rebecca was innocent at first in her case until the judge told the jury to re-examine the evidence. � After the second examination, she was found guilty for her evidence and her failure to respond to questions from her poor hearing.
