Pharmacy Practice 3 • the main competency based evaluation of dispensing practice in MPharm • basis of class is a series of exercises in dispensing • limited opportunity for students to work through appropriate examples and obtain one-to-one feedback from staff • students perceive class more difficult to pass than others
Pharmacy Practice 3 • final assessment - 3 hour examination where students have to dispense 5 items accurately • students start with 100%, marks deducted for errors • students cannot gain marks during the examination • making critical errors, such as dispensing an illegal prescription or an overdose, scores very low marks/ fail

Script (Rx) Tutor - current status • final year project students created Rx and errors for pilot • basic system running on SPIDER • piloted on current year 3 & 4 students • collected feedback
Script (Rx) Tutor - plans • modify system to allow input of additional Rx • extend capabilities • link to student e. PDP & professional skills • staff view class error histogram react to class needs • cater to other disciplines (custom error lists)
