Scanning Ø Very high-speed reading Ø Whan you scan, you have questions in mind. You don’t need to read every word, only words that answer your questions. Ø Benefit: you skip over unimportant words so that you can read faster.

SCANNING • State the specific information you are looking for. • Anticipate how the
