Why are we here tonight? § It’s about going to good colleges § It involves a lot of hard work § This is a team effort! Ø Students and Parents are the Team Ø Teachers & other water-carriers § Students “Reach High” – Get into a good college – § Parents support and encourage students Ø Research and visit colleges with them Ø Prepare financial aid documents and /or write big checks

(Cont. ) § The road for everyone leads in the same direction: ØThe 80 best colleges in the Handout Booklet ØEndowment drives quality and financial aid ØIf financial aid needed, get attractive package and reduce strain on Parents ØIf aid not needed, Parents get a better education for their considerable investment § The Team wins!
