Your Professional Development § Continuing professional development (CPD) is the process by which individual doctors keep themselves up to date and maintain the highest standard of professional practice § The RCOG CPD programme enables participants to develop a tailored professional development plan based on their individual needs. The plan focuses on: § the maintenance of knowledge and skill § the enhancement of existing skills § the development of new potential § All individuals have their own preferred methods of learning and the RCOG programme allows flexibility in deciding the educational value of different CPD activities and resources.
