The rattlesnake first strikes its enemy by lunging towards it, then sinks its fangs and pumps venom through each fang. q. Most kinds of rattlesnakes go for small mammals like mice, squirrels, and rabbits. q. Rattlesnakes can get water from not only their prey but also lakes and ponds. q. Humans change the habitats of snakes by plowing grasslands and wetlands, and hunting as a sport. q. Rattlers have natural enemies such as Red-tailed hawks, Coyotes, and
