Rates of Pay – Bingo Method Students should choose nine answers from the grid and place them randomly into a 3 x 3 square in their book. You may want to pause your display and choose questions according to difficulty during the game. Depending on time, students could win with a line, an X, or a ‘full house’ (all).
Printing To print handouts from slides Select the slide from the left. Then click: File > Print > ‘Print Current Slide’ To print multiple slides Click on a section title to highlight all those slides, or press ‘Ctrl’ at the same time as selecting slides to highlight more than one. Then click: File > Print > ‘Print Selection’ To print double-sided handouts Highlight both slides before using ‘Print Selection’. Choose ‘Print on Both Sides’ and ‘Flip on Short Edge’.

In a week, Janice works for 8 hours a day for 5 days. Janice earns £ 8. 62 an hour. How much does she get paid a week? (8 × 5) × 8. 62 = £ 344. 80
Jack works 38 hours a week. He earns £ 532 a week. What is his pay rate per hour? 532 ÷ 38 = £ 14 per hour
June earns £ 1501 a month. June’s pay rate is £ 9. 50 an hour. How many hours does she work every month? 1501 ÷ 9. 5 = 158 hours
