Purpose of Today’s Meeting • Proposal for increasing the AP limit • Proposal for reporting the top 10% • Proposal for adjustments to the rank multiplier

Adjustments to the AP Limit The proposal will include permitting ninth and tenth graders

Adjustments to the AP Limit The proposal will include permitting ninth and tenth graders to take a maximum of three AP credits within their first two years. Course perquisites restrictions will apply to all course work.

Recommended Policy Change to EIC (Local) For students entering grade 9 in the 2021

Recommended Policy Change to EIC (Local) For students entering grade 9 in the 2021 -22 school year, and beyond, only the top ten percent shall be reported on the student transcript at the preliminary sixth, sixth and seventh semester. A student not in the top ten percent may request their weighted grade average from the counseling department.
