Raj. Net Overview: • RAJNET is a platform to provide network connectivity through multimode (i. e. VSAT and MPLS) throughout Rajasthan state, up to Gram Panchayat (GPs) in 9894 Atal Seva Kendras. For detail information please refer Raj. NET portal: https: //rajnet. hcl. com/Raj. NET/ • Raj. Net installed/to be installed in 9894 GP/Atal Seva Kendra. Details: • 7200 on VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminals) • 2000 on MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) • 723 sites Feasibility is being conducted • Activation Status as on 10/05/16 (as per excel-sheet provided by Do. ITC): • 7143 on VSAT • 1845 on MPLS

VSAT Connectivity: how it is connected • Angle of Antenna should be 45° at Boom ROD & 55° at Back side of Reflector towards southwest Direction with 220° to 230°. • Antenna ODU is connected to IDU placed in the rack through RF cable • IDU output is connected to switch (on port no. 8), using LAN /patch cord cable. How to Troubleshoot MPLS Issue: - • First check the Power status of all equipment's like: (UPS, POE, Router & Switch). • If power is ok then check local connectivity at customer end. For example: - ODU to POE cable is connected in POE device at POE port or not, and POE device LAN PORT connected to ROUTER GIG 4 port.
• If connectivity is ok, then we need to tell to Local Person for SLT • Remove cable from ROUTER GIG 4 and direct connect to laptop or Computer. • Ask to LP that go on network sign what LP seen, if LP seen yellow sign, then go to local area connection and change IP address and subnet mask, and default gateway also. • For IP address- use CPE IP like (10. 110. 23. 109) and Use Subnemask 255. 252 and for Gateway IP use PE IP(10. 110. 23. 110), no need to DNS Server press ok. PE IP (10. 110. 23. 110)= CPE IP+1 (10. 110. 23. 109+1) • then go to CMD( Ctrl+R type cmd and press ok), and type a command like • ping 10. 110. 23. 110.
How to Troubleshoot MPLS Issue: • check what result we found like: -
• If we like this then issue is on Vodafone end. • If we found RTO(Request timed out), then we need to check Vodafone UBR at Customer end. • Again go on Local area connection and change the ip address and subnet mask as default. • For example: IP address = 192. 168. 1. 30 • And subnet mask = 255. 0 • No need to Gateway ip and DNS server.
Vodafone UBR Testing Step • Go on CMD and ping 192. 168. 1. 20 • If IP is pinging then Vodafone UBR is RESET and IP is not pinging then UBR is ok. • If we found like above this then Vodafone connectivity is ok, check the ROUTER.
MPLS Connectivity: how it is connected • MPLS Antenna is connected to Router placed in rack through patch cord. • Further the Switch (on port no. 8), is connected to the router usingle patch cord cable. Points to be checked and rectified for MPLS Antenna • MPLS antenna to be supported using proper GBT/rooftop Tower. • Laying of Cables starting from Antenna to Network rack should be in a properly fixed conduits.

Points to be checked for UPS Installation • The capacity of installed UPS should be of one KVA • Battery should be properly placed for the UPS in a stand. • UPS should be functional and working condition. • Battery connection to UPS • UPS Fuse status • Power availability
Configuration of IP Addresses • You can configure 6 PC/Laptop devices in 1 ASK on Raj. NET Network. • Connect your PC with patch cord to I/O Port. • IP Address details of Atal Seva Kendra (ASK) as per excel-sheet in pen-drive provided by Do. ITC or on https: //rajnet. hcl. com/Raj. NET/Projects. aspx • How to configure Raj. Net IP Address on a desktop PC/Laptop: • Gateway IP Address is written on every IDU/Router. • Confirm IP address written on IDU against the gateway IP provided in excel-sheet: • In case of conflict contact on Raj.
