What is waiting on God? • Waiting is setting TIME aside to be with

What is waiting on God? • Waiting is setting TIME aside to be with the Lord, just you and Jesus. • Waiting is praying – both speaking to Him and listening for Him to speak to you. • Waiting is stopping everything else. • Waiting is surrender. Handing it all over to Him.

Waiting on God is intentional, deliberate, and does have some active aspects; • Praise,

Waiting on God is intentional, deliberate, and does have some active aspects; • Praise, Worship, Adoration. • Prayer • Fasting • Silence • Solitude • Reading the Word • Sabbath • Surrender; • Repeatedly • Progressively • Positioning yourself; • Church • Home cell • Groups (Men’s, Ladies) • Christian friends.

She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what He said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to Him and asked, “Lord, don’t You care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, ” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her. ” Luke 10: 38 – 42
