Over the years wireless (mobile) phones have changed dramatically over the years. From the first phones that only offered one hour of talk time to the Apple i. Phone with Internet access and limitless Apps, wireless phones have evolved majorly over the past decades. Mobile phones officially became known to people in the 1940 s, but by the 1990 s mobile phones became a "must have" possession.
Mobile phones play a massive role in our society, if it’s to check text messages, facebook, instagram or anything of the sort as it’s known that now a days mobile phones can do just about anything you want them to do. They can be used for games, talking to friends/family, sending out important information, or even running a business. Some phones are even equipped to turn on and off light in your house from across the country. These phones are basically miniature computers, but they also have all the regulars of a phone. Phones of the twenty-first century may be great at times, but at the same time they do cause a few problems. For instance, there are the people who text and drive. It’s dangerous and adds to the chances of getting into a crash even more so than drinking alcohol. So imagine if there are people texting and driving, surely there are people going on the internet while they drive, which may be even more distracting.
It’s believed that younger people are more comfortable and suited to using mobile phones than older people. But what do we consider old and why are we lead to believe this? It’s said this is true because that mobile phones are evolving with the younger generation and are more suited to certain things that they like to use and view. Older people are still using mobile phones, and tend to use them for the reasons they were said to be invented for. Comfortability will vary from person to person, country to country; America is said to be a very technology savvy country, unlike many ‘third world’ countries as they don’t have the opportunity to use and experience things it can provide and therefore wouldn’t be as confident in using it as many other countries are.

All electromagnetic energy falls somewhere on the electromagnetic spectrum, which ranges from extremely low frequency (ELF) radiation to X-rays and gamma rays.
The position of a transmitter inside a phone varies depending on the manufacturer, but it is usually in close proximity to the phone's antenna. The radio waves that send the encoded signal are made up of electromagnetic radiation transmitted by the antenna. The function of an antenna in any radio transmitter is to launch the radio waves into space; in the case of wireless (mobile) phones, these waves are picked up by a receiver in the cell-phone tower.
