§ § § Born in 1533. Became queen in 1558. Never married, almost married to Robert Dudley. Had no children. Inherited a bankrupt nation Never relied on anyone, she ruled alone for nearly half a century.
Only 3 rd queen to rule England right in her own right, the other two failed. l Reign or Elizabeth was referred to as the golden age. l Restored lost sense of national pride. l Dazzled everyone, including her enemies. l
n n n Elizabeth’s step mother was Henry VIII's 6 th wife. [last] Dad was England's King Henry VIII and her mother was his 2 nd wife. First priority was to eliminate religious unrest.

People had to dress in accordance to their social status. Had to dress more magnificent then everyone else No one was allowed to rival the queen’s apparel. Often wore gowns with black and white which symbolizes virginity and purity. Her gowns would be hand embroidered with all sorts of colorful threads. Would wear accessories like a fan, a pomander, earrings diamonds or pearl necklaces, brooches and a watch.

DEATH n n n n By the turning of the 18 th century she was tired both physically and mentally. during the opening of parlemint she was so weak that she almost fell under the weight of her heavy robes she did not want to fight her illness she didn’t have an air to the throne she left king James of Scotland to take over the throne since she didn’t have a child. she fell into a deep sleep and never woke up again She died
