What is perfume? ● Liquid mixture of alcohol, water, and molecules that evaporate at room temp ● Common ingredients : acetone, ethanol

What is acetone? ● ● Strong taste and smell Colorless, volatile, flammable, organic solvent Natural in plants, trees, forest fires Clear colorless liquid sweetish odor
Why is it bad? ● Poisonous , can eventually lead to acetone poisoning ● Acetone poisoning occur when high amount of ketones are present ● Can cause nausea, dryness of mouth , slurred speech ● Eventually cause perfume allergy
What is a perfume allergy? ● Physical reaction caused by a perfume ● Causes severe headaches, skin irritation, allergic rhinitis, breathing difficulties, watery and itchy eyes, nausea ● 20 percent of the people suffer from this allergy
Importance ● 4 out 5 women use fragrances daily according to Stats ● Annual industry average $28. 95 billion , reach more than 6. 1 billion yearly ● 46% of fragrances are designer which are 75$ or more ● Price correlation ● Educate everyone

Procedure Step 1: Place 30 ml of each perfume in 95% of ethanol to a 3 ml 2, 3 -dinitrophenylhydrazine and shake
Procedure Step 3: Wait for precipitation to form and measure it
Data Bora Trail 1 : 0. 1402 grams
Conclusion: Based of the data I had available I am able to conclude that Bath & Body works bora perfume contains acetone
