CE Marking 1. Determine if any directives apply to the product. Surfa. Pore C EN 1504 -2: 2004 Surfa. Mix C EN 934 -3: 2009+A 1: 2012 2. Determine the extent to which your product complies with the essential requirements for design and manufacturing in the applicable directive(s). Surfa. Pore C as hydrophobic impregnation Surfa. Mix C as air entraining/plasticizer admixture for masonry mortar 3. Choose an authorized register to guide and supervise the procedure
CE Marking 4. Choose the conformity assessment procedure from the options (modules) called out by the directive for your product. 5. product testing Choose an accredited lab for testing 6. type examination certificate issue 7. Technical File and design dossier evaluation 8. surveillance of product and quality system
Surfa. Pore C Performance characteristics and identification requirements: Drying test for hydrophobic impregnation (EN 13579: 2002): The effect of hydrophobic impregnation is measured with drying rate coefficient. Class I. Water absorption and resistance to alkalis (EN 13580: 2002): The effect of hydrophobic impregnation is measured with water absorption resistance and the resistance to alkalis, AR=7% and ARalk=1. 2%. Mass loss after freeze-thaw salt stress (EN 13581: 2002): The Surfa. Pore C treated sample does not exhibit mass loss after 20 cycles. Water absorption under low pressure (RILEM Test Method 11. 4): The test procedure determines the water absorption rate of a concrete surface. Loss of water is inversely proportional of waterproofness. After 24 hours with water contact treated sample exhibited zero absorption, while the untreated absorbed 19 cm 3. Depth of penetration (EN 1766/EN 13579): Class II Density (ISO 2811 -1): 1± 0. 03 kg/L General appearance and color (visual): White Infrared spectrum (EN 1767): fingerprint of product composition Flow time (ISO 2431): 9. 6 ± 1. 44 sec
Surfa. Pore C Additional tests: • Product VOC: maximum 1 g/L • Water Vapor Transmission of materials (ASTM E 96): Water Vapor transmission loss was determined as the rate of water vapors pass through a 2 cm thick cement sample. Vapor Permeability Loss: 3. 82% (surface application) and 20. 12% (mixing). • Water absorption coefficient due to capillary action (EN 101518: 2003): Water absorption coefficient due to capillary action is inversely proportional to waterproofness and was measured Cm=0. 08 kg/(m 2·min 1/2) for Surfa. Pore C and Cm=0. 33 kg/(m 2·min 1/2) for reference. • Corrosion protection test (ΕΝ 15183: 2006): Surfa. Pore C doesn’t affect the behavior of reinforcing rebars in treated concrete
CE Marks
Declaration Of Performance (DOP)
SASO Exports to Saudi Arabia Nano. Phos SA is compliant with the European Standards, according the legislation for CE mark, regarding the products Surfa. Pore® C and Surfa. Mix® C. The company has already begun the procedure to be also compliant according SASO - Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.
