Why we have a QEMS For us to do business it is essential that Flomatik has a quality and environmental management system that meets the stringent requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 ISO 9001 Environmental Quality Management System Standard
What is ISO 9001 about? It’s an International Quality Management System Standard that: • • • Looks for repeatability of process and satisfaction of customer service Aims to improve customer experience and satisfaction Intended to cover any organisation Whatever the size, industry or culture
What is ISO 14001 about? It’s an International Environmental Management System Standard that: • • • Helps us to stay within England Wales environmental laws Ensures we know what impact our activities have on the environment Ensures we take active steps to reduce our impacts
Our Certificates We hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates that include the scope of activities covered by our certification. Copies of certificates can be obtained from the QHSE Manager or website.
Quality and Environmental Management System Policies A Copy of our Quality and Environmental Management System Policy can be viewed on the intranet via our website.
Management and Control • We use a 3 rd party certification body called DAS who independently audit our QEMS against the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. • We conduct internal audits of all procedures throughout the year to check for on-going compliance and raising business improvement reports when required. • The Management Team reviews the suitability and performance of the QEMS on a bi-annual basis.
