Receiving Information • Information automatically arrives when the ignition is on and for a short time after the ignition is turned off. • A wake-up timer checks for new information periodically, even when the ignition is off – typically once an hour. • Starting or idling your vehicle is not necessary. • Information is stored until you are ready to read it. • When you are sleeping, you can turn the volume down completely for both alerts and voice.
