Paying off student loans early Pros Cons Ø Interest rate: The quicker any loan is paid off the less interest will accumulate Ø Without the money upfront then your only option is to pay the monthly payment Ø Paying loans early will provide more money a month Ø Some interest paid on student loans is tax deducible Ø Lower debt to income ratio Ø Do not pay off student loans and drain an emergency fund

Hypothesis Eventually the time will come to pay off those student loans, it is a good idea to be prepared With a goal of how this is done. My goal is to pay off these loans as quickly as possible without hurting my ability to put money away. This can be done with a proper budget that would include all monthly expenses and student loans. I hope to pay off my debt in 10 years.
