What is a QR Code? • QR stands for Quick Response code • Similar to a standard barcode, it stores information. • Unlike a standard bar code, it can link directly to websites, pictures and files. • QR codes are typically scanned using a QR code reader app on a smart phone or tablet. • This gives the advantage of being able to quickly access information using mobile technology on the go.
