[s. a. ]), social capital is the collective value of all social networks (who people know) and the inclinations that arise from these social networks to do things for each other (‘norms of reciprocity’). Social capital mainly looks at certain benefits which you can attain through the usage of social media, e. g. trust, mutual benefits etc. It adds importance to people who are linked socially. People who engage in social networks build social capital and increase communication skills. We also increase our digital literacy.
