Maximize productivity and machine efficiency • Closed center load sense with fixed or variable pumps • Post-compensated design for proportional flow • Integrated pilot-operated checks Rev. B
System integration for optimized vehicle architecture • Hybrid valve solutions • Integrated priority inlets • Commonality with other PVG products, e. g. electrical actuators Rev. B
PVG 100 – Why ? • Stringent engine emission requirements require LS systems to meet efficiency levels. • Market is moving towards flow sharing options. • Hydraulic system design are flow and power limited. • Machines are growing in size & capability – results in higher flow – higher pressure – more electronics are implemented. • Total vehicle cost savings. Rev. B
PVG 100 – What is it? • Post-Compensated Directional Control Valve • Fulfills demands for flow/power limited systems • Simplifies operator control • Allows accurate, precise movement • Customized configurations with sectional design • Utilizes common hardware within PVG family • For use with fixed/variable displacement pumps. Rev. B
Introduction of PVG 100 Pre-Compensation Features • Compensator located in front of main spool Post-Compensation • Compensator located after main spool • Compensator controls individual P, determined by the LS work-port pressure, and the compensated pressure. • Compensator controls the P, determined by the highest load pressure (LSmax), and the pump pressure - P across the opening area of the main spool. • Compensator spring and LS opens the compensation spool • Compensator spring and (LSmax) closes the compensation spool. • Enables individual control to LS A/B • Flow-Sharing Simplified Cetop diagram Advantages work-port pressure limitation. Side Effects • Flow-Sharing not possible • Inhibits individual control to LSA/B work-port pressure limitation. Rev. B
Flow Sharing Definition • Post-compensated valves achieve load independent flow control regardless of the level of supply flow available. • When the flow demand exceeds the available supply, a proportional reduction in demanded flow for each section is achieved. • When the flow demand is less than the available supply, full demanded flow for each section is delivered.
