Please make sure that your microphone is on mute when you enter. Make sure your video camera is on and your face is visible. Plug in your headphones/earbuds to reduce background noise. Make sure you have a flat surface that you can write on. We are not currently using the chat box. Come prepared to class with whatever materials are needed.

COM The District is following the guidelines created by the Pennsylvania Department of Education for both reopening our schools and, if need be, closing specific buildings. If 2 -4 students or staff members in a building test positive for COVID-19 over a 14 -day period, a school may be forced to move to remote learning for 3 -7 days to stop the spread of the virus. While cases of COVID-19 remain low in Allegheny County, the District is monitoring the spread of positive cases within our community. We are taking every precaution we can to ensure that our students return to and stay in school.
Math GO MATH! (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) • Instruction will focus on inquiry-based methodology • Problem solving will be emphasized in all units • All Pennsylvania Core Standards for Math will be addressed • Student will receive “mini-books” for all chapters. Students write in these consumable books. The books are available on-line as well. • Online resources for all lessons include warm-ups, guided lessons, independent work, quick lesson checks, homework, and assessments SLIDESMANIA.
