Mental health problems are very common • Up to 1 in 2 of the citizens of Nottingham will have problems with their mental health at some point in their life • Most families will be affected • Estimate over 51, 000 adults and 3, 400 school age children affected at any time in Nottingham • Half of out of work disability benefits are due to mental health problems
