REVENUE GENERATED BY COMMERCIAL CANADIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION (CBC) RADIO STATIONS IN CANADA FROM 2011 TO 2018
WHAT THE REVENUE STREAMS The revenue stream is the source of revenue for the company. In business, the revenue stream is a combination of transaction revenue, project revenue, or service revenue. In government, the term "source of revenue" usually refers to different types of taxes. Example of the revenue streams: 1. Selling Assets (Asset Sale) 2. Fees for Usage (Usage Fees) 3. Subscription Fees 4. Renting, Leasing & Lending 5. Brokerage Fees 6. Advertising Fees
As we go through the bar chart, it shows the revenue data of CBC radio station between 2011 to 2018. From 2011 to 2015, the revenue of CBC's radio stations declined gradually. From 2015 to 2018, the revenue of CBC's radio stations has been rising gradually. The reason why CBC's radio stations declined gradually is, for the sharp drop in revenue was one-off AD sales for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, where the number of viewers watching the 6 pm news shows across the country looked bleak. The 27 Stations Nationwide combined to average 319, 000 people, or 12, 000 nightly viewers per City. The reason for the rise between 2015 and 2018 is that public broadcasting has a regulatory role. If there any safety problems, they can always be guided through the public address system.
