Getting additional experience while you are in college is MISSION CRITICAL! • If you are currently going to school full time, and working full time, that WON’T WORK at UCF, so you need to start planning NOW! • If you are considering graduate school after your bachelor's degree is finished, your GPA must at least above a 3. 0 and sometimes higher depending on the program you’re interested in, so it is CRITICAL for you to start out your career at UCF with strong grades. • You will need 2 faculty letters of recommendation when you apply to your graduate program, so it’s good to have that in mind when you begin. TA’s, RA’s, officers in student organizations, are the students who will have the strongest letters. If you are trying to work full time, you won’t have time for these extra activities, and your grades may not be where they need to be either.
