ANIMALS They have left the dead bodies of your servants as food for the birds of the sky, the flesh of your own people for the animals of the wild. Genesis 1: 26 -Mankind…may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
BURIAL There is no one to bury the dead Genesis 23: 3 -4 -Then Abraham rose from beside his dead wife and spoke…He said “I am a foreigner and a stranger among you. Sell me some property for a burial site here so I can bury my dead. ”
BLOOD They have poured out blood like water all around Jerusalem Leviticus 17: 14 -For the life of every creature is its blood: its blood is its life.
ISRAEL For they have devoured Jacob and devastated his homeland Jacob’s name was changed to Israel. His sons founded the Twelve Tribes of Israel. By devouring Jacob, other kingdoms are destroying Israel.
THE ARM With your strong arm preserve those condemned to die. Isaiah 59: 1 -Surely the arm of the Lord is not to short to save.
SEVEN Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times the contempt they have hurled at you, Lord. Seven is a “magic number” in the Bible. God began creation on the seventh day of the seventh Hebrew month Creation lasted seven days The seventh day=the Sabbath, God’s day Seven “men of God” in the Hebrew Bible: Moses, David, Samuel, Shemaiah, Elijah, Elisha, Igdaliah
