B) The Rise to Power is an Opportunity to Celebrate.

Ascension is the beginning of an active Christ who, with the highest permission, received power and might to rule for all time and eternity…. This is the Lord we serve, and therefore we should give him the glory and praise that is due to him every day, and especially today!

Christ in heaven does NOT mean now: Christ has retired, but Christ is within reach at all times and in all places to all people. His power reaches into all spheres of our lives.
