Psalm 100: 4 instructs us to Bless His Name!

Many feel His Name is so sacred, they don’t even want to speak His Name.

So they interpret this verse by saying, “Baruch Ha Shem!”

Bless The Name!

There has been a concerted effort to separate God’s people from His Name!

YHVH appeared in Scripture over 6, 000 times, but in an effort to keep His Name “sacred”, they used LORD instead.

Some go as far as to write L—D or G—D.

I’m sure you’ve heard stories of how the Scribes would prepare to write His Name when copying manuscripts.

Not only does our God, YHVH, want us to know His Name; He wants us to call upon His Name!

2 Samuel 22: 4 I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

I Kings 17: 21 Then he stretched himself upon the child three times, and called to the LORD and said, “O LORD my God, I pray You, let this child’s life return to him. ”

I Kings 17: 22 The LORD heard the voice of Elijah, and the life of the child returned to him and he revived.

Psalm 145: 18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

Isaiah 55: 6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.

Jeremiah 33: 3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Romans 10: 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;

Romans 10: 13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED. ”

This is a quote from Joel 2.

Joel 2: 30 And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth; blood, fire, and columns of smoke.

Joel 2: 31 The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.

Joel 2: 32 a And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be delivered;

Is it any wonder why the enemy doesn’t want you to know or call upon His Name?

Oh Great Ye. Ho. Va. H, please save us, deliver us, heal us!

What do you know about His gates or His courts?

In the physical realm, His gates are massive and require multiple men to open and close them.

In the spiritual realm, Jesus Himself, is the gate we must come through in order to draw near to YHVH.

Matthew 7: 13 Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it.

Matthew 7: 14 For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.

John 10: 9 I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

John 14: 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. ”

What about the courts of His Temple?

Do you want to stay in the court of the gentiles for the rest of your life?

Enter under threat of death.

Why can I enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise?

Because of Jesus!

From the beginning, YHVH’s plan was for Jesus to save us from our sin and bring us closer to Himself.

Ephesians 2: 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2: 14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one, and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall…

That wall that’s been keeping you away from the things of God has now been removed.

This is a direct reference to the wall that separated the gentiles from the outer court.

Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.
