PROVIDING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL PHOTO OR DIAGRAM HERE please use as high quality images as possible – ideally 2 MB each – this poster will be blown up to A 1/A 2 in size ISSUE/SCENARIO ACTIONS TAKEN IMPACT AND EVIDENCE NEXT STEPS To develop inclusive physical activity opportunities for all children in school to raise their self esteem and belief that they can achieve and take part in a wide range of sports. • Make contact with Paralympic athletes who can provide positive role models and lead sports sessions. • Develop a plan for the day that enables all children to take part in every activity. • Ensure this is embedded in school sport plan. • Skill & confidence development for children and staff. • Wider range of sports embedded in curriculum, lunchtime and after school clubs. • Greater awareness and acceptance of para sports and the achievements of our Paralympians. • Use the impact to engage more schools in adopting this model for inclusive sports. • Ensure the identified needs of children currently in school are supported and continue to be met through the programme. • Develop a model / guidance to support other schools to embrace inclusive sports.
