PATENT Government authority or license conferring a right or title for a set period, especially the sole right to exclude others from making, using or selling an invention.

COPYRIGHT Exclusive legal right given to the originator/assignee to print, publish, perform, film or record literacy, artistic or musical material and to authorize others to do the same.

MONOPOLY The exclusive possession or control of the supply or trade in a commodity or service (sole provider of a viable product/service).
