PROOF OF CONCEPT GROUP: FOUR BRAVE FINNS
THE IDEA: INTERACTIVE, STEP-BY-STEP RECIPIES • Display on a fridge door • User chooses a meal they want to make, AI may suggest based on existing ingridients • • • The recipe is presented on the display Different phases are shown on video clips AI will monitor cooking and give feedback • On a more advanced version, a robot will help measuring and preparing ingridients
VERIFYING THE IDEA • The storyboard was shown to people, while also explaining the idea
WHAT PEOPLE SAID • Many said the concept is interesting • Many also said it would likely make cooking more interesting, easier • One knew an existing robot that can cook (showed a video of it) • Teaching the robot to know and cook different meals would surely take time • Not sure if it would for sure make cooking fun like that, but wouldn’t harm either • Might be expensive for most, at least at the beginning
SO WHAT TO MAKE OF IT? • With the MVP, the focus was maybe too much on the ”fun of cooking” • More emphasis on the easiness and relaxing effects of the product • The storyboard showed the more advanced version • • People thought it was expensive Only people who could afford it probably wouldn’t need it that much
UX GOALS 1. 2. 3. Ease of use Enable fun Integrate with the existing kitchen
POSSIBLE PLAN FOR THE NEXT PHASES • Main emphasis on relaxation and ease of use • More realistic approach • • • Focus on the more basic, affordable concept of a screen and an AI ”Smart-fridge” Design should go well with the rest of the kitchen • More thorough evaluation, more varied viewpoints
