What is a pronoun? Pronouns are words that you use to replace nouns. They can make your writing flow better and easier to understand.

Examples of pronouns are: me he it In your book, write today’s date, the heading ‘Pronouns’ and list as many as you can.

Finish the story by using pronouns. My sister Lucy was very silly, _____ got jam all over _____ duvet cover and this made mum very mad. _______ made ______ take it off the bed and _______ had to put in the washing machine. _______ was not allowed to go out and play with ______ friends.
