Joey’s Letter s s Dear Mrs. Davidson, I had a lot of fun in Birmingham. There were a lot of unusual events. Like a church bombed I almost got killed. Luckily I got to hot and saw Kenny outside when he waved to me so I followed him. Four girls got killed though. One girl was named Addie Mae Collins she was 14 when she got killed in the bombing. Her birthday was April 18, 1949 even though she was 14 she was pretty young to die because a lot of people die in their 70’s and 80’s. Two of Addie’s hobbies were drawing ( She was a good one too. ) and playing ball. Another girl was named Denise Mc. Nair. She died when she was 11 when the church was bombed. Her birthday was November 17, 1951. Her hobbies were to host tea parties and to host an annual muscular dystrophy party. Another girl was named Cynthia Wesley. She died when she was 14. Her birthday was April 30, 1949. The things she liked to do were hosting parties and to play in a band. The last girl was named Carole Robertson. Her birthday was April 24, 1949. Her hobbies were to read and dance. She died when she was only 14. I am thanking the Alabama heat because if it was not there I would either be dead or be extremely hurt and die from the severe injury. So either way I would be D-E-A-D dead. I can not wait to see you again! Love, Joetta Watson
