Project Based Learning CTE Curriculum Improvement II
From Curriculum Improvement I You have studied the curriculum that we are having trouble with by making a: l List of terms and their definitions according to the curriculum. l List of concepts the students should know according to the curriculum. l List of skills the students should be able to demonstrate according to the curriculum.
Curriculum Improvement II l Today, you will as a curriculum team look at each list that has been created and create consensus lists for each (definitions, concepts and skills) based upon the curriculum. (not the text book) l These list will be used to create the project(s) used to reinforce the what they should know.
Curriculum Improvement II l Make sure to know the level of thinking the curriculum or blueprint states the students should be at. l Make sure the project enforces that level of thinking.
