Child Labor http: //www. loc. gov/pictures/item/ncl 2004004674/PP/resource/ Some questions that I thought of when viewing this picture is where are the people, are they in a house, are they a family, what are they working on? This picture represents child labor. The family is busy and concentrated into doing some type of work. Based on historical facts, children used to help with labor so that the work can get done more quickly and efficiently. Therefore, the children seem to be helping their mother do some type of work.

Women’s Rights http: //loc. gov/pictures/resource/ppmsc. 00055/ The questions I thought when looking at this picture were; where is this taken place, what are the women marching for, what are they trying to entertain? Based off the photo, the women seem to be marching for something. The thing they are most probably marching for is for their rights. The women are most likely suffragists who want to earn the right to vote and change the role of women in society. They are marching in what seems to be a city so that they could raise more awareness in a larger crowd.

Tg 3 n The questions gathered from this picture were; what are all the people walking around for, where is this located, wat do all the carts contain? This picture looks to be a city. There are buildings and many people within the city. The streets are filled with people selling products such as fruits. This picture fits theme of urbanization and immigration. The city seems to have a large growth since there are many people and there are many buildings. Therefore, it is safe to say that this picture portrays an urbanized city in which people can live in and buy products.

Child Labor http: //www. historyplace. com/unitedstates/childlabor/hine -slippery. htm The questions I asked when seeing this picture were; what are they doing, is that the father and sons? The clues I found were that they were working on something together. Which in fact they were cutting fish. This represents child labor because the boys are children who are helping with the labor. At those times, child labor was very common and it was a large issue.

Women’s Rights http: //loc. gov/pictures/resource/cph. 3 a 51845/ The questions that came up from

Women’s Rights http: //loc. gov/pictures/resource/cph. 3 a 51845/ The questions that came up from looking at this picture were why are the babies crying, why does the man look very concerned, and why is the women walking away angrily? The clues I gathered was the sign that says votes for women, election day and the fact that the man was holding the kids while looking very stressed out. This can mean that women finally had a change in the role of society and now can vote. Which further means that men need to step in and take care of the household, while women obtain more power. Women were not allowed to vote and basically had no power or voice. The women were supposed to stay at home and take care of the children and household.
