Main activities in 2009 1) Implementation of new type of filters into the nozzles 2) Improvement of target operation time by decreasing residual impurities. Commissioning of palladium purifier. 3) Stabilization of thermodynamic parameters in the cryostat. Commissioning of the He filling system. 4) Development and investigation of stable regimes of the pellet production. Continue to development of diagnostic system. New filters for the nozzles • Old filters: grid with pore size 5 μm Problems with blocking for small nozzle diameters • New filters: cylindrical stainless steel filters Ø 1. 6 mm and a pore size 2 μm (the same as in WASA Pellet Target) (A.
