Great resource! • Provides current and emerging information on K-12 web tools for all subject areas and grade levels. • One of my favourite sources for reading about new web tools. • Tweets every day on a regular basis.
Richard Byrne @rmbryne • An educator, writer and blogger. • Created a great website called Free Technology for Teachers , full of K-12 resources, tutorials, technology book recommendations and free downloads. • Tweets about the resources published on his blog. • Tweets on a regular basis.
Common Sense Media @Common. Sense. News • An organization that is dedicated to providing trustworthy media and technology resources. • Twitter profile provides a link to the Common Sense Media website for K-12 educators. • To access a vast resources library on the website, educators must register – well worth it! • Their tweets are very conversational in conjunction with tweeting about new website resources. • Tweets on a regular basis.

PLN Participation… @Ed. Tech. Uof. A As I have discovered, Twitter provides me with an endless supply of rich professional resources, websites, tools and networking opportunities. • The focus of my Twitter account includes K-12 educators, educational technology and social media organizations. • Building my own personal learning network (PLN) has been professionally rewarding. I have established connections with technology professionals and educational experts by retweeting or replying to their tweets. • My favourite hashtags include #edtech, #edchat, #teaching and #socialmedia.
