Production technology JADEN AGYEMAN-CHARLES

Hardware CANON DSLR Camera: This is the main piece of equipment I will be using for filming the documentary and taking location shots. Tascam: A Tascam is a voice recorder which I will be using for sound dubbing and for voice overs. The Tascam can be used with a studio condenser to pick up sound from only one direction. This will be very useful and effective however, I will be recording voice overs in a silent room. Tripod: I will be using a tripod to take still shots and recordings instead of having camera shake Camera stabiliser: A camera Stabiliser is used against the body of the photographer. It is used to take more steady shots with movement Apple Mac: The apple mac will be used to transfer my recordings onto and to be stored on them. As well as this, the apple mac will be used to edit the footage I will gather. I’m choosing to edit in the mac suite as it is consists of faster computers than around the college

Software Adobe Premiere pro : Adobe premiere pro is the programme I will be using to edit my footage. I am choosing to use this as I know the functions and have built skills on it over the academic year. I prefer the program over Final cut pro as Adobe is more modern and updated, with better effects too. Microsoft word/ Powerpoint : These are text based programs which I will be using to produce my research before doing my production work. I choose these programs as they are the easiest to navigate things and to use. Microsoft excel : I will use this to create tables and charts for results from doing secondary research. I will also be using this for some preproduction work for example a production schedule.
