Fair Game? Probability? P(even)? P(odd)?
Game Rules Get in pairs of two. Each person will get a die to roll. The person in the group which is older will be play A, the younger will be player B. If the sum of the two dice is an even number, player A will get a point. If the sum of the two dice is an odd number, player B will get a point. Play 36 rounds. Record results on paper.
How to Record - Example Round Dice Player A Player B 1 2+3=5 0 1 2 6+2=6 1 0 3 3+3=6 1 0 Make sure to include the number on the dice, and the total. Do not just write down you got the point for the round.
With another group discuss… How often was the sum even? Odd? What sum occurred the most? What sum occurred the least? How many times did each of the sums happen?
