What is PC 365? § Dedicated 800 number where an employee can speak with a Registered Nurse § Recommendation of Care- Medical or Self-care; with assistance in locating network providers § Nurse Assessment sent to Nancy Ketchum to complete the First Report of Injury report through NYSIF
Why Call PC 365? • Employee gets to speak with a Registered Nurse for guidance in type of care they need and when • Receive self-care instructions to help reduce unnecessary emergency room and provider office visits • Injured Worker Satisfaction- feeling that employer really cares about their health • Manager Satisfaction – transfer of risk for medical treatment decisions and First Report of Injury completed for Manager
PC 365 & FROI - Workflow Employee is Injured • Employee is injured and contacts manager. • Manager calls dedicated PC 365 number for claim reporting and presses prompt 1 to speak with nurse. Manager will contact PC 365 at client’s dedicated 877 -253 -6466 • The PC 365 RN completes assessment. A disposition of self -care or medical care is given to the employee. Nurse will speak with employee, complete assessment and derive at medical care or selfcare. • Nurse will ask to speak with manager again. • Call ends and Point of Injury report is sent to manager via email. • Nancy Ketchum will then receive the POI report and file report with NYSIF as needed. Is this an emergency? After the call ends the PC 365 Nurse will ask to speak with manager. RN will explain disposition and instructions to the manager. After the call ends the Point of Injury Report (POI) is sent via email to the manager. POI is sent to Nancy Ketchum who will file report with NYSIF.
