Registration • Players will need to register and have an update physical on file before they can participate. • Registration information is found on the Prior Lake High School activity page.

9 th Grade (A and B)-Tryouts and Team Selection • Dates: November 16, 17, and 18 • Time and Location: Twin Oaks Middle School from 3: 30 -5: 30. • 2 Teams: A and B. • Team size: Up to 18 total. • Team selection: Players will be notified after practice on Wednesday (11/18). • Practice begins: November 19 and 20 3: 30 -5: 30 PM at Twin Oaks. There will be a bus that transports all players to TO. The bus will pick up by the tennis courts. • Opportunity: Intramural basketball for those who do not make a team.

10 th Grade (B-Squad)-Tryouts and Team Selection • Dates: November 23, 24 and 25 • Time and Location: 5: 30 -7: 30 PM • 11/23 5: 30 tryout is at Twin Oaks. All other tryouts will be in the Gold Gym. • Team size: Up to 13 players total. • Team selection: Players will be notified after practice on Wednesday (11/25). • Practice begins: November 27 or 28 9: 00 -11: 45 AM at Prior Lake High School. • Opportunity: Intramural basketball for those who do not make a team.

Varsity and JV-Tryouts and Team Selection • Dates: November 23, 24, and 25. • Times and Location: 6: 00 -7: 30 AM and 5: 30 -7: 30 PM • 11/23 5: 30 tryout is at Twin Oaks. All other tryouts will be in the Gold Gym. • November 25 tryout is from 9: 00 AM-12: 00 PM. • Team size: Up to 18 players total (Varsity and JV). • Team selection: Players will be notified after practice on Wednesday (11/25). • Practice begins: November 27 or 28 9: 00 -11: 45 AM at Prior Lake High School. • Opportunity: Intramural basketball for those who do not make a team.

Practice Schedule • Every day after school. Varsity/JV Boys and Girls alternate early and late every week. • 10 th grade is from 3: 30 -5: 30 in the Field House the majority of the time. • 9 th grade practices at Twin Oaks from 3: 30 -5: 30. • Find practice and game schedules at: https: //www. plhsboysbasketball. com/ • The grade level coaches will send out a weekly schedule for practices, games, and bus times.

Game Schedule and Transportation • South Suburban Conference game schedule is posted SSC. We will play in 18 conference games this season. • More information to follow on transportation to and from games after teams are formed

COVID-19 Protocols • Daily health screening • • • Stay home if 2 or more symptoms Must wear mask in all common areas • Only allowed to remove when playing • Masks must be worn on the bench Athletes must be assigned pods of no more than 25 • Pods should social distance from each other • Limit movement between teams during the year

Strength & Conditioning Strength training room will be offered before school or as a class. We will not have organized team lifts after school due to Covid-19 cleaning protocols.
